Narcissus Perfume

Narcussus is a perfume brand based on the story of the mythological figure Persephone. The name of the brand comes from the Narcissus flower in Persephone’s story. This brand aims to create a scent that is delicate, radiant, timeless, pure, and minimal.

Persephone’s story: Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. She is known for being the Queen of the Underworld and the Goddess of Spring. She is also known for her duality. Persephone was abducted by the God of the Underworld, Hades, while she was picking a narcissus flower. Hades made her Queen of the Underworld. Zeus made this deal with Hades. Demeter, Persephone’s mother, grieved and searched for Persephone, without knowing Zeus had made a deal for Hades to abduct her. When she found out about Persephone’s abduction she demanded that Zeus get Persephone back from the Underworld, but Persephone had already eaten the pomegranate seeds that forced her to stay in the Underworld for half of the year. Persephone being stuck in the Underworld for half of the year is known to be the reason for different seasons.

Persephone’s attributes: Narcissus, pomegranate, seeds of grain, torch, deer, the seasons, duality, life and death, and new beginnings.

The Narcissus perfume brand identity utilizes a hand-drawn icon, hand-lettered logo, colors, typography, logo animation, pattern and a brand guide on icon use. I also created mock ups for social media ads, and design of perfume bottle, box, and samples.
